Unfoldra Literary provides paid, AI-assisted editorial assessments. A review excerpt can help introduce your book, but each platform decides what it accepts. This guide explains appropriate uses; it does not promise placement or platform approval.
On your book and in your own materials
You may use a delivered excerpt on your back cover, inside your book, on your author website or in promotional materials. Keep the wording accurate, preserve the review’s meaning and identify the source and commercial relationship. Suggested attribution: Unfoldra Literary — commissioned editorial review. Include the AI-assistance disclosure with the full assessment and any additional disclosure appropriate to the context. Do not turn an excerpt into a retailer star rating or claim an award you have not earned.
Amazon: editorial reviews and customer reviews are different
Amazon’s Author Central guidance describes an Editorial Reviews feature for the US marketplace. Sign in to Author Central, claim your book, and look for the editorial-review options for that title. If an option is unavailable, ask Author Central support. Submit a faithfully quoted excerpt with clear attribution and disclosure; Amazon controls acceptance, display and removal. We do not submit it for you or guarantee approval.
Do not post a purchased Unfoldra assessment as an Amazon customer review, ask someone else to post it as their personal experience, or offer payment or benefits for a customer rating. Amazon’s book-review guidance allows free or discounted copies only when a review is neither required nor influenced.
Keep review quotes out of the KDP book-description field. KDP’s metadata rules exclude review quotes and testimonials there. Use the separate Editorial Reviews feature where available. A+ Content has its own eligibility and content rules; permission in one area does not establish permission in another.
Goodreads: preserve authentic reader opinions
Goodreads’ author guidance prohibits paid or incentivized reviews. Unfoldra does not post commissioned assessments as Goodreads community reviews or ratings. Adding a disclosure does not override that prohibition. Readers who receive a free or discounted copy must remain free to review or not review, express their own opinion, and disclose the copy as required.
Use Goodreads’ supported author features under their current rules. Avoid mass review requests, unsolicited promotion to members who shelve a book, rating manipulation, and pressure on critical reviewers. We do not guarantee a Goodreads listing, review count or rating.
