Our editorial service
Unfoldra Literary provides commissioned editorial assessments. Authors pay for the work involved in assessing and presenting their book; payment does not determine the opinion, rating or award outcome.
AI assistance
AI-assisted tools are used to help assess manuscripts and prepare editorial material. Final reviews and award decisions remain the responsibility of Unfoldra Literary.
AI assistance may support analysis of structure, themes, clarity and consistency, organization of editorial notes, and preparation of draft material. We do not present an AI-assisted assessment as an entirely unaided human reading.
Multiple reviews
Packages include the purchased number of distinct editorial assessments of the same manuscript. Reviews may focus on different aspects of the work and may reach similar conclusions. They do not represent endorsements by multiple outside publications.
Publication and corrections
You may request private delivery before deciding whether to publish a review on our website. We correct factual errors and discuss concerns about accuracy. We do not rewrite an opinion simply to make it more favorable. Promotional features are identified separately from editorial judgments.
Use of review excerpts
You may quote delivered reviews accurately with attribution to Unfoldra Literary. Do not alter a quotation's meaning, assign a rating that was not given, or describe a review as an award. Use third-party platforms only in accordance with their rules.
Awards and conflicts
All review packages receive the same award consideration. The number of reviews purchased does not influence the criteria. Owners' and household members' books are ineligible for our awards, and material conflicts must be disclosed and reassigned.
Manuscript rights
You retain ownership of your manuscript. Submitting a book grants permission to access and assess it for your order, including disclosed AI assistance. Public excerpts beyond brief review quotations require your permission. We do not sell or publicly distribute submitted manuscripts.
